Put your strategy
in the hot seat.

Letter Me This! is the party game where your friends define you. Swap the friend for the thing your team needs to talk about — and the same engine that makes game night hilarious makes your offsite honest. A game gives people permission to play the true word. The scoring even rewards it.

How a team round works

1
The Hot Seat

In the party game, a player takes the Hot Seat. At your offsite, it’s the thing you actually need to talk about — the new strategy, the product, the obstacle nobody names in meetings.

2
Roll & Write

The 20-sided letter die sets ONE letter. Everyone gets 90 seconds to write words starting with it that describe the Hot Seat. The number die caps how many words they play.

3
Reveal & Align

Words are read aloud. Unique words score — the game literally rewards saying the thing nobody else said. Then the facilitator asks the only question that matters: “why did you write that?”

Watch one round happen

Offsite, 2:15 PM · Hot Seat: “Our new strategy” · Letter: C

Leadership just presented the plan. Tables of six. Ninety seconds on the timer. Then the reveal:

Customer-first
The word leadership hoped for. Three people wrote it — nobody scores. That’s a finding too.
Courageous
“We’re finally killing the legacy product. That took guts.”
Crowded
“Seven priorities is not a strategy. It’s a wish list.” The room goes quiet, then everyone talks at once.
Confusing
Played by the newest hire. Scores a point — unique, real, and true. Now it’s safe to discuss why.
Compounding
The CFO’s word. Best word of the round. It reframes the whole plan.

Twenty minutes, one roll — and you've learned more about how the strategy actually landed than the anonymous survey ever tells you. The duplicates show you your echo chamber. The unique words show you your blind spots. And everyone laughed the whole time.

Hot Seat: “The strategy we just presented”

Run it right after the big deck. Twenty minutes later you know exactly what landed, what didn’t, and what everyone’s actually thinking.

Kickoffs & All-Hands
Hot Seat: “The year ahead”

Tables of 3–8, one canister each, everyone plays at once. The reveal energy of a party game, pointed at the roadmap.

Celebrations & Icebreakers
Hot Seat: “This team”

New team? Retiring teammate? Project wrap? Sometimes the hot seat should just hold something worth celebrating.

Design your session in two minutes
